I never rely on anyone to make me feel at ease, as I've never really been able to depend on anyone to do that, including my husband. However, I feel that one must be incontrol of their own emotions, not letting someone else run away with them. I've been told by many a lover that I've actually put them at ease. I am myself at all times and people can take me or leave me for what/who I am.

I'm very much looking forward to meeting someone who feels they might like to meet me. I'm sure its something we'd both never forget. I've met a few people off of the internet before - however, none of the relationships proved very fruitful. It usually was they wanted to see me again but I didn't want to see them - it was obvious they just wanted "a roll in the hay with no strings" when a friendship with benefits is much more what I was seeking.

My present situation is better than it was but far from perfect. I have not had a "fulfilling marriage" since the day it started. Due to the children, I try to keep things in tact in this sexless marriage, which is also conversationless, and time-spent-together-less. It was really awful and I knew something had to give - so I bought another house, where I now reside with the children. He lives alone in the marital house and comes to see the kids 1 day a week when he has off. So I am basically home alone with 2 kids most evenings, and they are old enough to watch themselves for a few hours. I have had relationships outside of my marriage for the last 15 years. The relationships lasted anywhere from 1 - 8 years. Some have moved, some have died, and some have gotten remarried to their long sought after "soulmates." Others have lost themselves to the vices of life (alcohol, drugs) and still others have just plain lost the desire to continue the quest. I truly care about the special someone in my life and will do all that I can to make them feel loved and appreciated in this world. Perhaps that is you?

My typical day:

My day from sunup to sundown: I get up around 5:00 AM and have a smoke on the front porch before I go out and do chores. After chores, I shower and head to work. After work, I run errands (if I absolutely must, hate to shop; however, love auctions) and then I go home and do chores, work in the garden, cut thistles, fence, or do whatever else needs to be done. Usually dark when I come in.
