Hate being lied to. I am a "what you see is what you get" person and I want the same in a life partner. Be upfront with me.life is too short for games so when conflict arises I like someone who will join me in taking time to find a complete and genuine resolution to issues as opposed to avoiding conflict by settling for quick, temporary agreements - stuff like that just festers and eventually comes to the surface again. In addition, we also need to be able to compromise and defer to the other in some instances just for the simple reason that we esteem our relationship more over whatever differences we may have. You gotta look at the big picture sometimes!.

I have realistic expectations for a committed relationship and am willing to act on the belief that my partner’s feelings are equally as strong as mine. Therefore, I usually am not deterred in taking the risks associated with being vulnerable on all levels.I am an undaunted romantic! Bottom line is I need someone who believes and acts on the belief that the intimacy of a relationship is special and should not be taken advantage of. As far as sexuality, I like to be romantic, adventurous and fun, but for me sex is not a casual event. Making love has great importance in my relationships, and it is reserved for someone who is special to me. I think my sexual preferences may be viewed as conservative by others, but I am are hardly a prude! I am very confident in my sexual/sensual ability, not selfconscious in bed and open to try various activities, as long as there is trust and desire between us (I am willing to be vulnerable and relinquish "control" in the bedroom to my partner if I feel safe to do so.)
In other words, I am not sexually selfish. I am a giver. While I appreciate spontaneity and wild abandon in sex, I also seem to like for lovemaking to be "planned" to some extent. I like to set the mood, build anticipation and ensure we have privacy with no interruptions so we can enjoy ourselves fully. I am a hopeless romantic with a touch of realist, I guess.

Yes, I am still looking for THE one who will make me forego all others and want to be with me just as much. After the "wow" of the initial sparks are spent we still can't wait to be in each other's arms at the end of the day because we have other coonections in place that will hold us together.
A perfect "dream day" spent would be relaxing on the beach with my special man at our little beach, then retire inside to a long hot shower, a scrumptious home cooked meal, then eventually to a big pillow-laden bed next to French doors opened to the sound of the ocean waves and scent of the sea.
