I'm 51(a number, not a life) really, just a big kid at heart. I'm handsome (did'ya think I'd say ugly?) 5'9' and not a dainty flower. I've been described as being built like a wall. I'm a big, broad-shouldered, burly "bad boy" lookin' guy. But, looks can be deceiving. I have dk. brown hair (greying at the temples - UPDATE - My daughter's just told me that I'm in denial.so, I guess "salt and pepper," might be a better description - but I still insist there is more "pepper" than salt!), a moustache, sometimes a beard and the softest lips in the world. Have a Masters Degree in English and was formerly a professional artist. Now in a completely different career. I'm in no way impared from the neck up or the waist down. It's cold here and my pillow dosen't hug back, I can't hear it breath in the night when it's so dark and quiet. My funniest life experience:

I took a very beautiful girl to my senior prom. She was from a well to do and very strict family and I was pretty wild. When I arrived to pick her up i expected I would get a garter for my sleeve cool, huh?! But, with her parents watching she embarrassedly gave me a small gift wrapped package. Her mom and dad took pictures and we were on our way. In the car I started to open the gift and she said, "They wouldn't let me give you a garter and mom picked this out instead I'm so embarrassed." I told her not to worry and opened it to find a pen and peccil set! When we got to the prom, all my buddies kept comng over and saying, "Where's your garter?" When about the 6th guy asked me she handed him her drink and pointing to me said, "Excuse me, I'm going to the ladies room and tear the elastic off my panties, then I'm coming out here to tie it on his sleeve!" I kinda wish she would have!

I never have felt that way. No one ever made me comfortable just being myself. That might seem strange, especially snce I was married for nearly 17 yrs., but even then I knew something was missing. I guessed that no one ever finds that one he/she was made for, that one who makes them comfortable just being his or her self. I know better now, I'll feel that way seconds after I look in your eyes. As for making those around me comfortable, I can tell you I can be kind and tender and that would be true. But, I'd also have to tell you I can be stormy and hard. I can tell you that I can be sweet and and laid back and that would be true. But, I'd also have to tell you I can be distant and anxious. Maybe I'm stupid for letting you read those buts, maybe not. I am honest and for me that counts for everything. I don't ever want you to be anyone other than who you are.
Comfortable is a relative term, loved is not. There is one thing I can tell you that doesn't have a but. I can love you more than you can imagine.

Really weird, we started writing not knowing that we were friends in high school. Took a few weeks before we told one and other who we were. Dated for awhile and are still friends today. Just found out that she wasn't "you" and I wasn't "him".
