my sister & i went to Europe when we were 18 & 20. & she tried hard to show me how well she could read the signs in Paris [she had taken high school French]. anyway, one rainy afternoon we paused under an awning, where she attempted to read the sign to me. she was so impressed by the clothing prices she decided to try some on.
unfortunately for her, it wasn't a clothing store, but a dry-cleaners!
