Someone that's all hung up on himself or having the roaming eye, I hate that if they are with me! I can't stand someone that smells like a pack of cigarettes or has alcohol on their breath. I am a shy person, I would expect them to contribute at least 50% into a conversation!

Someone that is understanding when it comes to dealing with someone that is shy and nervous, especially until I (yes me!) get to know someone. I want to be around easy going people that aren't all hung up on themselves to where they make me feel like I don't measure up to their standard. I wouldn't want someone I am with to be constantly on his cellphone throughout the entire date either! I like well mannered, understanding, non-judgmental people. I am not into the partying, social life scene.

Of course, especially within a relationship. It takes two to make a relationship work, but there has to be communication! It is funny how people change as soon as you marry them. I compromised major when I signed divorce papers that I never wanted many years ago. That was very hard for a young 23 year old woman to do. ):

I have only met one person from this internet dating site, it didn't go so well, there was too much of an age difference, plus, he was looking for "something" I was not looking for! To tell the truth, I am very shy about meeting someone for the first time. I might have to be pushed and pressured a little the first time or two, after that, hopefully it will get easier! A great first date would be to be with someone that I like and feel comfortable being with, just having a good time and learning about one another. I wouldn't want to be with someone that has a lot of excess baggage from past relationships and that's all they want to talk about or someone that is just looking for a one night stand, I don't need any of that! Just to go somewhere where we both can feel comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere would be a nice date. I started my career as a Correctional Officer less than a year ago, I love it, but it involves a lot of overtime hours. I am a 3rd shift worker. When I am not working, I normally just hang around the house getting caught up on things that I didn't have time to get done during the week and I argue with my two teenagers! (:

I am presently employed as a Correctional Officer after having earned my degree in Criminal Justice in October of 07 , I had wanted to be in Corrections for a very long time. I get nervous about meeting someone for the very first time! Roller coasters, heights, and snakes scare me just to mention a few!
