Smokers, drinkers, liars, and men who force anything. I'm not a prude, but I'm not a player, either, and am looking for a man who is willing to be consistent and active and NOT delay in politely reaching for what he wants. Drama and control freaks also turn me off; I'll run the other direction, at first hint of such. Slow movers indicate a lack of sincerity, to me.

Honesty, sincerity, cuddliness, brains, manners. I'm looking for a man who wants to only dedicate himself to one woman, one family,etc, and to eventual marriage. He needs to have the time to devote to a woman and a relationship-no workaholics. Can't be a cigarette smoker, as I'm allergic, and no drinkers or men who like to gamble. He can be anywhere in North America or the UK, but he needs to be available and dedicated to getting to know me, making a life, with someone, once he finds her. No tempers, no violence, and stable health. Must like kids, cats and/or dogs, but not around, necessarily all the time.

I just saw "Good Night and Good Luck", and enjoyed it. My favorite movie is actually "Love Actually", but I tend to like flicks most folks never heard of. I've recently gotten copies of "The Red Violin" and "Hope Floats"; love Sandra Bullock movies.

I like Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Christian Contemporary, Classical, Folk.all kinds. Mary Chapin Carpenter is a favorite, but so are Scottish Highland Bagpipe corps! If I can dance nearly naked, just you and I, to some soft jazzy stuff, well.!!!

Cuddliness, good listening skills, no ego! Cigarettes tend to nauseate me, as do Know it Alls. I really relax, when I know the man is a quiet, thoughtful Christian and unashamed to talk about it. As I'm affectionate and cuddly and very validating, that tends to put folks at ease. Your fondness of soccer and old movies, walkathons and fresh air will score lots of points; community service also does.

This past summer, I travelled to Canada to meet someone; He flunked the compatibility test, but I LOVED Nova Scotia and New Brunswick; I'm there, IN A HEARTBEAT, have a passport, speak a few languages.

My typical day:

I spend most of my time, reading, writing, researching and meeting folks that are a part of my subject matter. This includes about every other day, at a local church, for various things. I'm happy to put a pot on to cook while I watch a movie or do other stuff. I adore getting up early, and I tend to get more done, by 10am, than most folks accomplish, all day. I have a flexible schedule, love to take walks, and think rainy days make for perfect cuddling. Adoring pets, I currently am seranaded by a pair of lovebirds, who keep watch over a kitten and an older maile Yoda cat.
