My funniest life experience:

When I was a waitress and never been one before, they just told me to do the job, no training. I had a table of 10 people come in and I put 10 glasses of ice water on a tray and took it to the table. As I was leaning across a man to put the glass of water in front of him, my hand holding the tray tipped and all the other glasses of ice water went right down his back! He screamed, I jumped and everyone at the table busted up laughing. I got him a towel, was SO EMBARRASSED! I told him I'd pay for his meal, but he said no. When I brought the coffee pot to the table, everyone held their cups out TO me so I wouldn't spill hot coffee on them! I wanted to die. But when they left, they all left me a $50 tip! Later, the cook said, Next time, use the tray with the cork on it. That's for glasses so they don't move. the tray I'd used was for plates.

Life is a compromise. In a long term relationship, you both have to be willing to compromise in order to keep the relationship going. I have given into being the one in the "wrong" when I knew I was not, in order to stop an argument and get on with daily living. i.e. if I am accused of doing something stupid that I know I didn't do, I may say "whatever" and just drop it, move on so as to avoid an arugment over something dumb.
