The best gift I received one day was when my girls acknowledged that "I am so nice because I always put others before myself". For the sake of not patting myself on the back, that is just an instinctive part of me and I don't expect anything in return except to not have my good nature taken advantage of!

The only main one that comes to mind is when my best friend turned "born again" christian during college and turned her back on her good friends. I had no problem with the path she chose, but felt she was hypocritical because we didn't go that direction. I haven't seen her since!

I possess qualities that were instilled by my mother. I come from a family of seven kids - me smack in the middle - and we were taught very good manners - always say thank you - respect adults - be kind.
I am not shy in the least. If anyone is shy when they first meet me, they aren't when they leave. By this I mean I can be downright goofy but I also on the other hand am a good listener and problem solver.

I try to get a work-out done in the a.m. My days vary from running errands, working in the yard and/or inside house. I also do volunteer work. I got certified to tutor an illiterate adult to read and write. I also volunteer at the Riding for the Handicap, which is an after school/summer program for children that have disabilities. They ride horses for therapy. I enjoy both of these volunteer jobs immensely!
