I want someone who is open and honest with me. None of my past girlfriends have ever asked the simple question "how was your day?" after I got home from work. That kind of statement shows me that you actually care for me. I want someone who judges me for who i am; not by my looks or how much money I have in my wallet. I want someone with character. I guess those are hard to find. Especially the "hot" ones.

A couple of years back, I was chewing on a pen during a test (college). Guess I chewed on it too hard cause the thing blew up in my face.

Most of the music I listen is punk. For example, my favorite bands are Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, Pennywise, Tiger Army, Street Dogs, Everybody Out, Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Misfits, Sage Francis . . . Then there is Mudvayne - I listen to Mudvayne when I'm frustrated. Then there is traditional Irish rebel songs like the one posted right now.

Honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence and maturity are some of the traits I require. Attractiveness can be an added bonus, but sometimes that only runs so deep. I absolutey despise arrogance. I don't like people who think they are better than me.

Yeah, I'm willing to compromise. Compromising comes easy for me. I'm one of the most laid back persons. You don't have to ask me what to do, where to go, etc. But in a relationship, talking to other men that I don't know is a VERY hardpill for me to swallow. I find it difficult to trust because I've been burned many times in the past.

Very willing. I'm always open to new friends, but really I just want to settle down. I'm tired of running. Before, I limited myself to only 23-28 year olds. It's different now. I want a mature woman (even if they are between the ages of 18-22). If you are mature, then it is one of the ways I can tell that you are honest and open.

I've had to start from scratch before. I find it as a challange and I absolutely THRIVE off of challanges. College was a challange for me because I'm not the smartest cookie. For me, what was done in the past is done. No sense in beating yourself up over it. New beginning? I guess you can call it that.
