First and foremost is having a good sense of humor. Having a good sense of humor and not taking life so seriously is the key to being happy, whether alone or in a relationship. I'd like to be with someone who is intelligent, independent and thinks outside of the box. I'd prefer to be with someone who shares at least some of my beliefs and interests, but if not then she must at least be accepting of them. When it comes to physical appearance, looks certainly are not the most important thing in a relationship (not to me anyway). However, it certainly helps if there's at least a small spark to ignite the fire.
