Life, unless you are a hermit, is about compromise, so, instead of blathering on here, I'll just say I cannot and will not compromise when it comes to who I am, and what I believe in. The rest is pretty negotiable, unless I am having a really rotten day.and then someone else has to cook, cause I am not! ;)

I am ready to settle down. I know that the perfect relationship-hell, ANY relationship, takes time, trust, and work to be worth it, and I am willing to make that investment, IF the man is both worth the effort and willing to put in the same amount of work. I also will not just leap into a relationship before we know each other.Just kinda cautious that way :P

My perfect date would involve an activity (miniature golf, shopping, shooting pool, etc-something low-key where I can play off my jitters easily, LOL) to break the ice, followed by long, long conversation.And if it's gonna be perfect, it ends with a really dreamy kiss!

Wish list, huh.well, I have a pretty extensive list of things that I want to do before I die, some I am actively working on, some I am saving for my retirement, and some will come with time. I want to:
Travel to Europe, take a cruise, lose 20lbs, stop smoking successfully (working on it-taking chantix now!), see my grandkids, watch my kids get married (not in that order, LOL) get my Master's Degree, open my own business, take some Spanish classes, take some archery classes, visit Austrailia, drive cross-country with no more than $500 on me at any given time, visit the San Diego zoo (did it this past summer!), have both a pet monkey and a talking parrot, ride a hot air balloon, write a book,fall in love and have it last, read all the classics, learn about football, learn to dance.wow-yeah, there's a list, for sure-and this is just what springs to mind at the moment, LOL.
