When my son was about 6, While sitting (for which I thought was an eternity) at a stop sign waiting to get onto a major highway, I said out loud, "Where is all this traffic coming from."? My son replied, from DC, mom. We lived only a mile from the DC Line so You might have to be from the DC area to really appreciate that answer.)

Being raised by a Strict Greek Man without a Mom, He taught me to become very independent. He taught me to be my own person and to stand up for what you believe in. I am understanding of others feelings, and I pretty much tell it like it is, however I try to do it without hurting anyones feelings.

I spend alot of time with my son, who is 17, trying to explain to him just how LIFE works. My husband of 36 years died 2 years ago and My son is having a tough time.
My kids, are 15 years apart. One 17 and the other 32. I also have grandkids, 12, 7, and 4. They keep me hoppin' all the time. My family is probably the the best asset in my life. (I'm really tired at the end of the day)
