My funniest life experience:

A woman friend was over and with my kids (9 and 11) we were coloring eggs for Easter. My youngest was talking to her friend Tracy. After she finished, the woman became very jealous and wanted to know about this "other woman." My daughter, visibly upset, excl ed, "Tracy is a MAN!" Tracy was her mother's boyfriend. I still laugh about that.

Yes I am willing to compromise. I compromised a lot when raising my daughters. They taught me a lot about humility and patience. Once we were at the grocery store and I grabbed a bottle of wine. My older daughter gave me a dirty look and said, DADDY! She had recently been taught about the evils of drugs and alcohol. I put the wine back and continued my shopping.
