In retrospect, I don't think that anything has actually bothered me about any of the women whom I've dated, except possibly some of them who incessantly keep referring to their ex husband or boyfriends and are very self-absorbed. And, I'm told that I can be brutally honest. Ergo, don't ask my opinion if you are not prepared for the response.

I am looking for a woman that shares some of the same interests that I have. Someone that knows what true love is and unconditional.Qualities for which I search in a person are truly few. They are intelligent followed closely by attractive. Also,I look for aggressiveness, as well as assertiveness. Being spontaneous is a plus. Also, some one who is D&D free. Preferably, a nonsmoker. I would like to find a woman who would join me at the gym, sometimes. Also, no photo in profile gets no response.

It really depends on my mood. There are times I like classic rock and roll, then, contemplative times when I like pure classical, e.g. Chopin, Wagner, etc. "Space Music" is great just for relaxing. My favorite bands include CHICAGO, THE MOODY BLUES, BREAD, and some modern names I can't recall,at the moment.
Anything upbeat, I don't like angry music, the main music that I listen to is 80s hair band and new country. One of my favorites is Bob Seger. (I know that he is not a hair band)

I have been ready for a long time to emerge from 'my shell', but was simply unaware of it. Like "not being able to see the forest for the trees".

The perfect date to me is that one that neither one of us wants to end. As far as what we do, what ever we decide to do. I'm not into bars or clubs or movies for a first date. I think that we need to go somewhere and talk and see if we click and see if there is chemistry. Any relationship should be "started from scratch". New, no cloud to possibly create strife. A 'new beginning' means just that, new, a clean slate, an empty vessel.

Things like go on an archeological dig, maybe para-sailing. I would like to meet someone and not be so scared that I mess it up by giving TMI, or not enough.
One of the first things that comes to mind is to take a kayaking trip down one of the major rivers is this country. There is more but I don't have room on this to write them.
