My funniest life experience:

When I was in the Army Reserve and I had to make up some drill time, I volunteered to do some recruiting at the Kansas State Fair a few years ago. Well, I was leaving the Fair and saw these group of guys unloading this trailer full of musical equipment near the grand stand where the Fair has these shows so I went over to them and told them that they should sign up with the Army Reserve. They took my business card and flyer and told me that they were pretty well set but they would recommend me to their friends. So after these guys left for the grand stand with their equipment these other soldiers that I was with looked at me funny and asked if I knew who those guys were and I said no. They told me that those guys were the band "Def Lepard" and I just said oh well, who's Def Lepard? About that time the lead singer announced from the stage that if anyone from the audience wanted to join the Army Reserve just let him know because he had my name and phone number and he would give my name and number to them to get in contact with me. So I am known as the soldier who tried to sign Def Lepard up for the Army Reserve.
