I think the most important quality would be that she is open minded. This way I would meet someone that I can have interesting conversations with. Of course I would like someone who is intelligent, but to me that does not mean they have to have gone to college or anything. What else, well, the usual stuff I guess: nice, good sense of humor, . . .
Lets see, probably the ONLY requirement is that I'm not ready to get involved with someone who already has kids. I'm sorry, but at this point in my life I am not ready for that. Other than that I'm pretty much open to anybody contacting me!

Ok, I am just gonna talk about myself a bit here instead of the typical day business.
Hi everyone out there, how should I start this off? Well, I am a Mechanical Engineering PhD student here at the U of A. Great deal, they pay me to go to school; how cool is that. I just finished up my masters and am continuing on for my PhD; nothing wrong with “a little” stress right :). I am originally from New York, so that means I have to meet all new people; I'm working on it.
So, what does a busy student like me do for fun? I am usually up for doing much of anything, but am quite content with just hanging out with friends or by myself. If I am not striking up some random conversation with someone at a local bar (I like Che's, Plush, or Surly Wench mainly), you might find me dancing it up at some of the 'less grinding type of dancing' dance clubs (Club Congress and Asylum).
I definitely don't drink all the time, so what else do I do? Most weeknights I go to one of the local Coffee Shops; that is where I do most of my studying, but of course there is always time to talk to new people there as well. Other times you might find me just walking around fourth avenue by myself or maybe with one of my good friends.
I also like to play with my devil stix to relieve stress, I have become quite good and now even upgraded to fire ones. Oh, and I like to cook; it is fun to try and make new things. I made some Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) recently, they were tasty. When I first moved here I watched the food network a bunch; Alton and Emeril rubbed off on me I guess. Check out a nice Portabella Mushroom burger I made. You can also see a picture of me changing some water from my fish tank; gotta keep my non-mammalian friends happy too you know. I cut out the picture of me accidentally swallowing some of the water :).
