I find that I get along well with ex-partiers. I'm not a 12 stepper, but some of my best friends are. I enjoy the company of people who have an appreciation for the arts, and have an emotional sensitivity that they are willing to share. I'm fairly sensitive myself, That doesn't mean wussy or "nice-guy" it means that I've made it a point to try and heighten all mysenses physical and otherwise to experience as much of this life as possible. I think of myself as a hedonist who actually considers how much joy or pleasure my choices will actually bring.

I'm willing to negotiate on many things, however, I am NOT willing to compromise myself or my core values for anyone. I don't like having to change once a decision has been made, however, I am willing to listen to reason.

I've had a couple of dates, made some friends, and had one relationship with people I met online. I don't go to bars, I work alot, and my personal interests are fairly solitary. I have a circle of friends who take up a lot of my free time, but I'm not interested in dating them. I find that online dating/networking sites are a great way to meet new people.

I'm currently a little spun on this girl I dated a long time ago who recently came back into my life. I've had to accept that it'll never work, and I'm trying to deal with the facts at hand. I wish my emotions would catch up with my mind.
So it goes.

My typical day:

I don't like the concept of a "date" too formal, too much pressure. We don't even know if we like each other, or if the online pictures are going to be anything like the reality. I'd rather get some coffee, or tea someplace that has enough seats and quiet enough for a decent conversation. Then maybe a walk to a bookstore or a museum. It'll all depend on the chemistry. If it's there, I'm not worried about coming up with something fun. I really dig the ocean, and beach fires, and walking, and talking, and learing new stuff. I find life and this city fascinating, and I'm hoping to find someone I can learn from as well as share with.

I've been teaching myself to program in "C", and should be switching to a different career track soon. I'm in a band that is currently rehearsing, I'm looking forward to playing live shows, and actually touring. I want to write the score for a full-length feature film someday. I've only done short films so far. I want to visit England. I want to visit Japan.
