Those who've lied to me. Betrayal. People who are mean just for the sake of being mean. I'm tired of superficial, shallow people. It takes more than money, education and looks to make a person. There has to be something inside to create that warm friendly attraction that binds one on a personal basis.

I have a sister who has the knack of making everyone feel welcome. I've learned a lot from her. She'll smile and focus everything on whoever she's talking to. It has a calming effect I've noticed and have tried to learn that trait from her. I'm pretty laid back and love to listen to other peoples stories and adventures. I do ask a lot of questions but only so I can learn more about you. I'm friendly and non-judgemental. You see, it's not my job. Of Course. That doesn't mean I won't ever dig in my heals if I really believe an idea or event is harmful or just wrong on every level. But life is a compromise and every relationship regardless of it's standing is built on a certain level of compromise simply because personalities are so diverse.

I'm here to start from scratch. My past is long behind me and I'm past ready to begin anew. I like the idea of getting to know someone and let things develop in their own time. Life is full of surprises and they usually happen when you least expect them.

My typical day:

The perfect date is one that plans a 2nd date! Obviously the perfect 1st date is one that allows us to get to know each other. Coffee, a ride down the beach, a walk through the park. Romantic but no excessive.
A day in the life of me. Wow. Wake up slowly, shower, light breakfast, then out the door. I work in a market so I get to play with the customers all day. I prepare meals and convince you to buy what I'm cookin' honey! I laugh a lot with the patrons who stop to see me. After work I hang up my apron and come home usually. I prepare a fabulous meal usually followed by a light dessert. The evening could be one of games, a good movie or more. Time to turn out the lights. Tomorrow's a new day!
