My funniest life experience:

H m so many to think of. The other day my Father who is in his 70's called me up to apologize for something he remembered doing over 40 years ago. Our Family was traveling from Florida to Washington State and on that trip we went by the Grand Canyon stopping at the look-out to see the splender of this gourge in the Earth. I was about 9 years old at the time and recall being mesmorized by the magnificance of the view so much so that when I paused to turn and see my siblings reactions there was no one on either side of me so turning around I see the back end of Dad's Red Rambler Station wagon pulling away from the roadside lookout and not another car was in site.
I just stood there in more awe than the Grand Canyon's existance as everyone in the world to me vanished quickly away. My mouth was wide open but I could'nt utter a whimper much less the scream which may have got Dad's attention and had him turn around. Instead I stood there silent and scared for what seemed like hours. Perhaps the shock made the Sun seem to fly across the sky as when it was blinding me on the horizen it came closer like a shining bullet from the highway which turned into the lookout area and was my family coming back to retrieve me.
Dad's apology the other day was for leaving me there and to explain that as a child I was so quiet they hardly ever knew I was there and that is why he had forgot me that day. Looking back now it is funny to see that little boys face when the sun became the car to take him beyond.

I think people who are most at ease and easy for me to be around are ones who are not presumptuous and needy. If you know yourself well and are comfortable with you then there is no reasons why I would not be comfortable as well as I know who I am and find comfort in knowing that I try to be a good person and live as simple as I know how.

I wonder if compromise is another way we say we are so afraid to be alone that we may try anythng to pacify another so as to keep them from leaving us. Adjusting to a situation in times of need is not the same as to make compromises to pacify others. There is no compromise to make when love is at hand.
