I would like to find a nice, outdoorsy man to fall in love with for the rest of my life. He needs to be confident and secure in himself. He must have integrity and good values. I really don't care about looks. When I fall in love, it will be with what is within, not the shell. I am no Barbie or trophy type. It would be a good thing if he likes motorcycles, since they are one of my passions. Facial hair, tattoos and gray or white hair are worth bonus points, but not necessary. There are way too many to choose from, but I think one of the funniest was when I spent the night on a spoil island in the Laguna Madre because my boat engine died.It rained and put out my fire and in the morning I realized I had accidently tripped the kill switch.Or it could be when I slipped on seaweed on the seawall in Corpus Christi and fell in the bay.Great first date and I lost one of my favorite shoes.Then again it could be when I accidently rode my motorcycle up a fence post and landed in a cow pasture without knocking down the fence. I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

Okay, this question asks what would be my perfect date as well as what my typical day is, so I will answer both.
Date: I love the outdoors, so a day fishing or a weekend camping is always a good thing. I also like cuddling up watching a movie on the couch. I like the theater, especially Broadway musicals. Dinner and drinks and slow dancing are never a bad way to spend an evening.
Typical day: In the summer, I like to sleep late some days and get up early others. I like to travel and garden and relax. During the school year, I get up early, get ready for school and go enjoy my day teaching. Then I get home, help my child with homework, cook some dinner and grade papers or watch some tv before going to bed.I go out sometimes, but being new in town, it isn't much fun to go alone. When I do go out, I like live music, karaoke (I have been told I don't sound half bad), movies and outdoor stuff.

I am afraid of heights, but I love the mountains and roller coasters. There aren't too many things that I want to try that I haven't. I believe the only wasted life is one that ends with regrets for what I could have done or what could have been. I would like to travel to Australia and Africa on a photo safari. I am working on riding thru and visiting each of the US states during the summers in the next few years. A coast to coast roadtrip is definitely on the possible list.
