I am looking for a guy I want to dress up for an be my best - but am comfortable being dirty and working in the yard with. The guy should have his own set of friends and hobbies, but willing to share mine. So if all you do is work and don't have any other interests you pursue - you are probably not for me. Smoke and the odor it leaves on a person is something I just can't stand. I would eventually like to live in the country, however that means country around Wichita. My family and friends are here. I love animals and would expect my partner to as well. I enjoy children but unfortunatly have never been in the right relationship at the right time to have my own. I have dated a few guys with grand children and just can't get used to that. I love music both live and radio/cd. I could not imagine life with out it nor a partner that did not like it as well. And I have to admit - there is something woman like about a pick up man.

I have been told I'm easy to talk to and listen well. I enjoy people who speak their mind and do not hesitate to express how they feel. I am quite opinionated and can be stubborn. I want a partner that can stand up to me. However that is not to say I don't have my shy moments. I certainly do.

I am starting my masters degree this fall 08. I would love to meet someone I can discuss business thoughts and ideas with. I own my own home and am always fixing something or starting a project. I wish I had someone to teach me the "right" way to do things. I love to do them myself however - well with help :) I just turned 40 and am writing a 40 things to do after 40 list. Some of those things - to see a Jimmy Buffett concert, to visit the deep south including Gettysburg, and to have VIP seating at Country Stampede next time. I also would love to drive a race car - but really ought to learn stick shift first! :)
