When my daughters were little, I curled my oldest daughter's hair very tight. As I was combing out the curls, my youngest daughter passed by, took one look at her sister's hair and started singing "It's A Hard Knocks Life" from the movie "Annie." I laughed until tears flowed down my face.

Yes. In a prior relationship I found out that my partner had been dishonest about something. I don't like being lied to. After we talked, I could see his point of view, but that really went against my core beliefs. So I agreed to disagree and we moived on.

I want to start over from scratch. By that, I mean that I want to meet someone who is looking to build a future with that special person. I have done a very good job of getting rid of old baggage from the past. I want a new beginning.

My perfect date would consist of dinner at a quiet place where we could spend time talking and gettng to know one another without having to shout over some obscure, canned music. The atmosphere would be calm and relaxed. There would be candlelight, good wine, great food. We would order different things from the menu and would be willing to share each other's food. There would be laughter, and discovery.
