I am most at ease with someone who wants to investigate something rather than argue about opinions with which we disagree, or if we disagree we know we do not have to be mad at each other. I know some who if you disagree with them you become their enemy.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I generally willing to compromise if it will get the task done. I will usually allow someone to do something their own way, and if it does not work, then we do it my way. The last time I compromised on something major I ended up with a trapezoid floor instead of a rectangle. I was able to make it work okay, but it required extra work from me. If it comes to what to eat, movie to see, or place to go I most often let the other have their way; but there are several things I will not eat, pork, shellfish, or catfish; movies I will not watch, horror films because they are horrible; and meetings of organized religion, not that I think organized religion is bad, it is just that, and this is after 30 years as an active participant in the Southern Baptist, Assembly of God, and the th Day Adventist churches, I have not found an organization that is really seeking truth, they all want to maintain the status quo, because if the truth contradicted their beliefs they would have to change their life, and most people are not willing to do that.

I am very interested meeting someone, from this service, or any service. I have been alone for about ten years. I have not found someone with whom I am very compatible. I have a home and land, paid for. I am not interested in giving that up. Women with whom I have been intimate are all long gone. I am interested in someone who would want to move to the country, and live a rural life, raising a garden and animals.

My typical day:

I get up in the morning between 6 and 7am, depending on how cold it is outside. I generally do not eat breakfast. Being a carpenter, electrician, plumber, etc., I go to different palces all the time for my work. Most of the time I work about a hour day. I do not need a lot of money to live. Sometimes I take lunch with me, other times I eat at a restaurant. In the evenings I read, or watch a movie. I do not get any television signal, so I do not watch TV, which I do not miss. I go to bed between 10 and 12 at night.

One thing I would like to do which I have not done is go white water rafting. I am a very good swimmer, and I enjoy boating, canoeing, and the like. I have driven across country, but I would enjoy that again with someone whom I would be able to cherish the memories of the trip.
