My best friends describe me as caring, honest and sincere. I am a good listener and I love to engage in stimulating conversation as long as the person I am talking to is interesting and honest. I have a tendency to be a little on the introverted side. I sometimes have to force myself to talk to someone for the first time. I used to be painfully shy toward women but I have learned the phrase "nothing ventured, nothing gained" really is true.

An insecure person really bothers me. I hate it when a woman is constantly putting herself down. I believe that nobody will ever truly love you until you can love yourself. A jealous person is another thing I have an issue with. But I guess jealousy is just a symptom of being insecure. It's extremely unattractive!

I would love to find someone with a great sense of humor, who loves to laugh and never takes life too serious. Someone who is sensual and sexy and is not afraid to show it or express it. I am attracted to women who take care of themselves and by that I do not mean she must be a hard body or a fitness freak. I actually prefer women with some curves over the skinny super model type. Also, if her only quality is her appearance I will get bored with her very easily.

My funniest life experience:

I was eating at a buffett with my cousin and his girlfriend who also had her son with us. It was seafood night and after my first helping I said I was going back for more. Russell (her son) said he was going with me. So as I am standing at the buffett there are only a few hush puppies left, I take 2 and Russell who is standing next to me takes one. I playfully slap the hush puppie out of his tongs with mine and put it on my plate. He looks up at me and grabs another one.again I smack it out of his tongs with mine and steal it for myself. I look down at him to smile and dare him to try for another, and it's NOT Russell! It's some other kid whom I have never met. Talk about a jerk! What kind of grown man would do that to a kid? LOL.needless to say I apologized profusely.

I love it when a woman is very open and honest about what she likes and dislikes not just sexually, but in all facets of her life, Communicating openly and honestly is essential and helps me to feel comfortable in telling her my own thoughts and needs. I believe relationships succeed or fail depending on how well the couple communicates no matter what issue is.

This is sort of a silly question. How can anyone expect a relationship to prosper if they are not willing to compromise in difficult times and situations? Succesfull relationships are built on two people knowing and understanding each other's wants and needs and their willingness to compromise in these areas.

Of course I am willing to meet, and yes I have met a few people from the internet. As far as looking for a serious relationship I would like to meet that special person but I do not expect to find her here. I don't think it's impossible, it's just not likely (can you tell I am trying to convince myself not to get my hopes up?). I look for friends first and then see where it goes from there. Long distance relationships can be rather difficult to maintain but I guess if there's a will, there's a way.

I am single and I am currently not steadily dating anyone. Occasionally I might meet a friend for a drink or dinner but as far as being "available" I am very much so. I have put my past relationships behind me and I have moved on. I have never been more secure or content to be single, yet I am more than willing to meet someone with an open mind about a possible future with that one special lady.

I would love a picnic in the mountains of Colorado, and maybe spend some time fly fishing. If fishing is not your thing, just relaxing in the shade next to a stream. I love the solitude of the mountains and I am very much at home there. I am a pretty decent cook, so perhaps you would rather let me fix you a romantic dinner? Honestly it's not WHERE you go on the date, it's WHO you are with that makes it worthwhile.

I have always had a desire to go scuba diving! I am fascinated by the ocean and all the life it holds. I remember when I was a kid I used to pretend that I was under water with all the scuba gear on. Sadly I have never had the opportunity to live this fantasy out, but maybe one day I will. Another thing I would like to do is go on a cruise, but this is obviously something better shared with someone special. I guess I better find her before I start booking any cruises huh?
