Being a child of the 80's I do have an affinity for 80's music (Duran Duran, Genesis, Morrissey). However, I do like other types of music such as harder rock (AC/DC, Rush, Nirvana), rock (The Cars, Tom Petty, Yes), and newer groups like (OK GO, Blue October and Metro Station).
Some genres I don't listen to much (as I'm not really interested) are rap, jazz, blues, classical, heavy metal, and world.

People like to be around me mainly because I am completely honest and respectful of others. The "Do unto others." is something I live by. I am a hopeful, happy person by nature and don't like to be around others who are constantly negative. Lighten up, life is supposed to be fun!

I believe that compromise is essential to all relationships, romantic or otherwise. Every day you have to balance your wants, desires and needs with those of other people. The best relationships, the ones that last, are the ones where each persons wants/desires/needs are met equally. Any time that balance is upset for an extended period of time, it causes problems. In those situations you find out if the other party is worth the relationship by how they handle the conflict.
