I'm pleasantly conflicted. Sometimes a bookworm and media-hermit, other times a writer who wants to meet as many people and get myself into as many situations as possible. Not bi-polar, no. More like Charge, then retreat to reflect! My friends would say I'm shy and reserved but that there's a contradiciton: I've had an interesting life and taken a lot of risks and survived. Bob Dylan is a genre now. I like the old man, not so much the kid from the '60s. Dylan's Gospel music is awesome, and he's had a creative re-birth in his old age now that shows we're sharing the planet with an artist who will be remembered for centuries. His influence on so many other poet/song-writers is undeniable.
I'm strange. I listen to Dylan.
I'll allow for some Tom Waits, David Byrne, .Leonard Cohen. I'm open to any suggestions, I wouldn't mind being shoved into the 21st century.
