I have to say that everything about me personally came from my father. While I was in the military, a lot of who I was became reenforced even stronger. Traits like honesty, truthfulness, dedication and love to to the single right woman, a sense of personal honor that will not be broken that seems to be totally unknown to some who string along two or three women. Without going into anything, the personal protection is assured.

Telling of yourself is one of the hardest things to do for most people and me included. I am retired military reserve. I am a veteran of the First Gulf War and Viet Nam. I do live my life by my own code of honor. The very first in this is truthfulness and honesty. I can only hope that any lady I may meet have similar values.
I do admit to being something of a recluse or hermit. I have NO social life by choice, but that could change with the right lady.
Is this too much to hope for? I hope not. To quote James Garner in his movie "Murphy's Romance", "I have fallen in love for the last time in my life." I know that if I can find the right special lady, that is exactly what it would be.
I value many things in a relationship. The most important is truthfulness and honesty. Any thing else is just learning about each other.
As for what the lady may expect from me, I am not someone who runs around with other women. I don't do illegal drugs. I never get violent. It will be a constant mission of mine to surprise my lady in one way or another. I know my little "surprises" will put a smile on her face and make her wonder what is going to happen next. I always try (but sometimes fail) to say thank-you at the appropriate time for her just being her
I am a man who will support and love my lady in good times and bad. If she should make a mistake, she will find me supporting and loving her. To me that is only a part of the relationship.
She will have to put up with hugs and kisses at almost any time. She will have to trust me if I give her a note with only a time and address on it. After she gets to the first stop, they may hand her another address and and time. And yes, I can be a little sneaky now and then.

I have been on this dating site and others for a long time and I am sorry to say I have developed a talent about just looking at the picture of a ladies' profile. It would not matter if there were 5 hearts on the profile and each matched exactly what the other was looking for on the profile. I can tell whether or not the lady would be interested in me. Unfortunatly I have proven myself right in more than 20 out of 20 cases about whether or not I would be of interest to the lady. Normally the lady is just too beautiful or pretty for the likes of this old coot.
I have stopped "winking" at ladies because of the lack of responces. Of the few that did, one lady that lived 13 miles from me said I lived too far away for any kind of relationship with her. Another asked me would I expect total honesty and truthfulness from her. When I answered yes, I never heard from her again.
-UPDATE- A new answer from a wink. It seems that I was "too unatractive to be seen with her or her friends." Is this a new low in brushoffs? I knew at the start that she would turn me down, but I have to say that her answer was a new low!!

My wish list is gtetting ready to become real. I will be getting some of the front of the property to be picture book ready. I will be cutting some trees down in front of my shop and the land clearing will cover the property side by side except for a 18' strip that would be the road going back to the backside of the property. Any trees that would be big enough for a saw mill will be used by my own bandsaw mill. The rest would be cut up for firewood. There will be a fair sized pasture with a 5 foot tall fence around it. There will be a lairly large stable to hold the two mustang mares and their foals, a three year old mustang stallion, and of course a couple of burros. The corral has to be six feet tall. I was asked how many thousands of dollars it would take to get that many mustangs. I had to explain that the BLM had a program to where people could adopt these horses and burros for only $125.00 each. sometimes they have a special with the mother and foal and get both for only $125.00. I know I will be riding within three months.
I will also have three kennels built. These will be for dogs with any excessive attack behavior. I will work with any breed except for Pit Bulls Because these dogs were trained to attack other dogs and would be considered unsafe around other dogs or children.
One Lady that owned a Siberian said I worked a total miricale with her dog in only 30 minutes after being tied to a chain for 2 years. I have to say that the dog was exceptionally smart and learned her inside behavior in less than 20 minutes including potty training. Now the training of the dog's owner took about 2 hours. It took a while for her to realize the dogs signs for needing to go outside. What made the dog the happiest was when the dog was properly clean, she could sleep on the bed with her Mistress. The lady was somewhat surprised when she reaized how many signs the dog could communiate with. I also stressed the importance of occassionally her getting down to the dog's level to teach or re-enforce who was in charge.
