I enjoy many kinds of music. My family is musical - one of my sons is in a band in Florida, my father is a musician, I have sang in the church choir - and I grew up listening to my father play and sing the old Country & Western music. I do like to go to operas and plays. I like Irish, Spanish guitar, rock and roll, some blues, some jazz, classical, and many other kinds of music.

My perfect date experience would be one in which we could talk quietly and get to know each other while enjoying a good cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the mountains. An inexpensive restaurant suits me just fine as long as the food is good and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation. Perhaps after eating, we could walk down the main street of the town or walk in a park enjoying with weather and each other's company.

I would like to travel to foreign countries. I would also like to travel more in the US. I have done a bit of traveling from the West coast to the East Coast and a bit in between. I would like to visit all 50 of the states before I'm too old to enjoy all the wondrous sites. I want to move to a milder climate - I live in NE Kansas - and have thought of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Nevada. I would like to build a house someday. I have many ideas for a home and have even done some serious consideration of running a bed and breakfast. I have a lot of ideas and plan to live a long time!
