To find her I only need to seek what my heart whispers to my brain: the 4 a.m. Woman. If I awaken very early in the morning and sit alone in the darkness of my bedroom none of the usual daytime earthly things matter. Looks don’t matter because when I love her I’ll think she is the most beautiful woman of all time anyway. Material things like cars, houses and money don’t matter. I’ve been poor and I’ve been rich and while rich is clearly preferable, happiness between people of depth and substance is totally absent any relationship to financial status. Very early in the morning, in the dark, all that matters are those very real things that can not be seen or touched: character, peace, contentment, love, commitment and loyalty. These are what I have for my 4 a.m. Woman. I only need to find her.
