Oh my, well, I think the one thing that turns me off very quickly is when they try too hard to impress me. I really don't want to fall in love with the wrong you. It hurts too much when the true you comes out (and it will). I'm no prize catch, but what you see is what you get.

The most important quality in a woman has to be her fidelity. Following that is honesty, truthfulness, ability to confess that she broke my favorite beer mug (a reward is guaranteed here), must have a sense of humor (must be able to laugh at herself AND at me), must be able to stand up for herself and speak her mind, and , oh yes, she must (some day) love to have me touch her beautiful body and smother it with kisses, (please don't freak out yet) K?
She must have things that she likes to do that would't necessarily be what I would like as I would have things that she might not like to do. But also there would be things that we both like and those we would do together. I do not want a jealous woman, I am NOT a jealous man. I think jealousy is just a disease that eats away at a relationship and should be locked up and the key thrown away.

I haven't been to a movie theater in several years. My wife was sick with cancer for about 10yrs and it's no fun to go by yourself, but I'm not that crazy about it anyway. There are good movies on tv and you can rent movies way cheaper than going to the theater. (yes, I am a bit frugal) I also watch for grocery sales :) .

I think a person should just be themselves, anything else would be transparant and would not reflect your demeanor. Therefore you would, more or less, be shooting yourself in the foot, so to speak. Being honest is the best characteristic a person can have. I think my honesty and actions would go a long way to helping my date to relax and feel comfortable with me.

Again, Nothing spectactular comes to mind. All my life has been filled with compromises, It's like everytime you make plans it turns into a compromise, not that it's a bad thing, it's just NORMAL. If ANY person can't happily make compromises, the relationship is doomed before it starts. A compromise is ALWAYS in someone's favor. In a solid relationship built on love and understanding compromises come relatively easy. It's the Godly thing to do. If you believe in Jesus and trust your life to Him, He will take care of you.

My typical day:
|
|
ok, I usually get up around 5-6am, put on coffee, splash cold water on my face, THEN get dressed, turn on computer, go start the bacon cooking in the microwave, get a cup of coffee, get my e-mail, read-answer and sip coffee. Go finish breakfast, clean kitchen, check e-mail again etc. Check weather, if going to be nice and warm will then head for the golf course for the day. After golf I stop at store for what I need on the way home, get home, put groceries away and decide what for supper (dinner?), eat while watching tv. Check on programs, like 2 1/2 men, Samatha Who?, Cold case, Masterminds, law & order, all comedy shows, deal or no deal and others. Sometimes get call from friends then check e-mail, answer it and then it's time to hit the hay :) which is around 11pm after 2 1/2 men. I'm sure that if I had a good woman to share life with, there would be some changes. A perfect date would be to be with YOU anywhere doing anything (or nothing), talking, asking questions, holding hands and looking deep into each other's eyes hoping to find that spark which is so necessary for a good relationship. Could you be the one??

Actually, I have did s o many things in my lifetime and I feel fortunate for having done them. I think the one thing I did that was the most gratifying was my last marriage of 40 years to a wonderful woman. That is what I would like to do again. I do not wish to do anything that could prove to be dangerous. I am a violin and bow maker by trade and still work at that but have cut down on it somewhat. I love the game of golf and would rather play golf than eat when I'm hungry (ha ha). So, you would probably be a golf widow.
