One was too pushy, he couldn't stay away from me long enough to let me breathe, another would promise to call or come by, and continuously (the last 8 times) stand me up. I'm a big believer in calling someone if plans change, it's just rude not to.

As I said in my headline, I want the fairy tale. I want someone who will remind me everyday how much I mean to him, whether it's a look, a brush against my cheek, or simply saying, "I love you". I want someone who lets me know they desire me, someone who whispers sweet words in my ear, and tells me I'm the only one for them. I also want someone whom I can respect a great deal as a man, whether it comes from seeing him deal with the kids, or something else. Someone who is patient, loving, and caring. Not asking for much, am I? LOL

There are lots! But, some of my funniest moments happen when I'm around my kids, and they just say something that strikes me SOO funny! Like, the other day, I told my daughter we may be going to see her grandparents, and I was hoping to set up a dinner with an old friend of mine from high school, my brother, and a friend from work. She said, "Do I get to go?" and I told her, no, it's an adult dinner. Then she said, "So why do YOU get to go?!!" LOL

I like old movies, like Casablanca, Breakfast At Tiffany's, and John Wayne westerns. I also like comedies, mostly, like My Cousin Vinny, the Austin Powers trilogy, and Secondhand Lions.

I LOVE country music! Especially Rascal Flatts, and Bluegrass stuff, like Alison Krauss, and the soundtrack from O Brother, Where Art Thou? But, I was raised on Conway Twitty, George Jones, and Merle Haggard, and still enjoy those old guys, too!

Perfect date? Had one not long ago that seemed like it was. He came to my house, we had dinner, he left a little bracelet on the wine bottle for me. It was sweet. Afterward, we sat on the back porch, and just talked. He told me how beautiful I was, and how special, and that he loved me. He made me feel safe, like I had found what I was looking for. Then he was gone, and I woke up! LOL
