Some things that have bothered me about girls i've dated are dishonesty, Not being trusting of me, Not respecting my moral and religous choices,and drinking habits. These same traits go hand in hand with people that i'm just friends with as well.

Qualities that I look for in a partner or just a friend is first and foremost, they have to be trustworth or else the friendship or relationship will fail. Secondly, they have to be sweet. I'm looking for someone that I can be friends and a couple at the same time so to me friend and partner go hand in hand. I want someone who is understanding. Understanding of the fact that I'm not perfect and will help me grow but at the same time not try to change who I am. I'm looking for someone who is honest. Honest meaning they won't lie to me and when i need to hear the truth about something regardless of whether I want to hear it or not , will tell me. Someone who will respect me just as I would respect them. I want someone who loves to snuggle up and just spend time with me. A sense of humor is also something i'm looking for and I mean that they can laugh at themselves every once in a while too as well as being able to take a joke. That's what I'm looking for so if you have some or all of these traits I wanna get to know you :)

My funniest life experience:

Wow!! I've had a lot of funny experiences but If i have to choose one, i'd choose this one. I ran track in High School and I decided to give hurdles a try. There was a girl sitting in the stands that I was checking out and she was lookin at me too and she waved at me and smiled. The gun sounded and I started off and then as I jumped the third hurdle, my foot snagged the hurdle and down i went , flat on my face and everyone in the stands including that girl was laughing once I got up and showed that i was ok. To most people it would have been the most embarrassing moment and while it was a bit embarrassing, I was one of the top three runners at the entire meet so I didn't feel too bad and I laughed so hard about it along with the team and my coach. :) I have some other really funny moments but you'll have to message me to find them out lol

I like most types of music with the exception of country. I have tried listening to it though. My favorite genres are hip hop and r&b and rock or alternative rock. It really depends on my mood. My favorite groups that are current are Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Panic at the Disco, Jagged Edge, The Dipset Mafia , Deepside, Tech N9ne, Rascal Flatts. Some older groups I love are Dru Hill, Ruff Ryders, Pink Floyd, Next, Blackstreet, The Temptations And many more

I'd have to say that the personality trait that has helped me feel most comfortable is understanding. To me, a girl understanding that a first date is a new experience and that it takes a little while to completely open up helps me feel at ease because I know that she will understand that i'm not dull or standoffish but that i'm just trying to get to know her better before completely opening myself up to her. I feel that I make girls feel comfortable around me by the respect that I show towards them and the fact that I love to make a girl laugh and i'm never affraid to pay a girl a genuine compliment.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

Yes I am willing to compromise in hard times because I always look at a situation and what outcome is wanted from both sides. An experience I had wasn't exactly a hard situation but I promised a friend I'd help him move some things out of his apartment and my girlfriend at that time wanted me to go shopping with her at the same time that I was supposed to be over my friends' helping him. We didn't see eye to eye on what I should do first and she began to feel that I didn't value what she wanted but I called my friend and told him that I'd be there later than I thought because I was out with my girlfriend and he understood and immediately after shopping with my girlfriend I went and helped my friend so she was happy and i still got to help my friend. In my opinion , almost every situation can be compromised as long as both people are willing to bend a little.

Are you ready to start from scratch?

I wouldn't say I'm starting from scratch but realizing the things i've learned and gone through in the past, I'm looking to move forward as I am now and grow with someone new and help them grow as well so I guess you could say I'm looking to continue my present situation with someone new. Everyone that I needed to put behind me has already been put in the past and in the past they will stay :)

My typical day:

My perfect date experience would be going to my dates house to pick her up and her coming out dressed to impress and I'd just stand there gazing at her and then we'd head off to a nice restaurant probably an italian restaurant and we'd have a wonderful night of talking and getting to know one another and then after dinner we'd go to a park and walk and talk arm in arm and the weather would be perfect. Not too warm not too cold and the stars would be out so I could sit with her and hold her as we looked at the stars together. After that we'd go back to her house where the date would end in a hug and kiss and we'd both struggle to let go of one another. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic :)

Oh boy! lol Well some things I really would like to try in the future are skydiving, whitewater rafting and I'd love to do alot of traveling. One other thing that I haven't done yet that i really want to do is to go deep sea diving. :)
