First and foremost, you HAVE to have a sense of humor. I am usually the comic relief in my group of friends so I want to find someone who can keep up. Also, I'm extremely close to my family and friends so it's a definite bonus to me if family is just as important to the person I'm with. In addition to those two qualities, I also want the typical characteristics in a friend or partner like honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, openness to experience all that life has to offer and some similar interests to get us off on the right track.

Movies are a big part of my life. My brother went to school to be a film director and he has written several screenplays. He just recently filmed one short film. As far as my film taste goes, I'll watch pretty much anything as long as it's not too gory or scary. I'm not a big fan of paying to get scared, but I'm trying to be more open-minded about what I watch since I know my brother isn't going to base his movies on what I want to see alone. :) I love Quentin Tarantino movies, which yes I know totally contradicts what I just said, but he's AMAZING! I really like M. Night Shyamalan movies too. I also love Audrey Hepburn movies. A few of my other favorite actors are Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, and Jessica Alba.

I have very eclectic musical taste. I'll listen to anything from pop to country to rap, as long as it has a good beat and I can understand the lyrics. Some of my favorite bands/musicians are David Bowie, The Beatles, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Rhianna, Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, The Black Eyed Peas, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Weezer, The Philosopher Kings, KMFDM, mdfmk, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Flogging Molly, Less Than Jake and so many more.

I would love to skydive! I think, even though it would be scary it would also be incredibly exhilarating! I'd also like to help with Habitat For Humanity. My sister has been helping them for a few weeks and I am kind of jealous of how much more complete and happy she seems. I want to travel to Europe and take in the different cultures. I would also like to go back to school and finish my Elementary Education degree. I have my AA, but dropped out of the university because of some health issues. I have a nursing degree now, but something is urging me to go back so that I can say I have two degrees. I think that's be cool to be able to show at my 10 year high school reunion.
