My funniest life experience:

My sister's wedding: She got married in Gatlinburg, so it was just the bride, groom, my parents, me, and the best man. We were there for days. On the day before the wedding, we went sight seeing. I had been there before, so I begged to go to OberGatlinburg. My sister and I raced the groom and best man in the luge thingy and were told that we were going to slow.to speed it up. The little kids were laughing at us. Then Sis and I decided to go down the water slide after the attendant assured us that we would not get wet. Needless to say we spent the rest of the day sight seeing with see through clothes. The family thought it was hilarous. We didn't think it was so funny at the time.

Compromise is the key to a successful relationship. During Katrina, we left to head north the day before she landed. Well, one member of the traveling party wanted to head home days after the storm. Against my better judgement, we started off. We got 30 miles into the trip when we realized the gasoline situation was a bigger problem then we thought. Back the safe haven we went. days later, after the one person kept on about returning south, we tried again. This time we made it, only to find that we had no home to stay in and had pets to deal with. Another friend let us stay until the next morning when we waited in line for gas and headed back north until we could figure out what to do.

I am looking for a new beginning. As with everyone, I have a past. Every now and then it does tend to creep up and rear its head in the form of a text message or an email, but I prefer it to stay in the past. I have been single for a couple of months now, but I was never on the rebound because I realized the last guy was never more than a friend who used me.

My typical day:

I wake up at 5 to feed my cats, meditate, eat breakfast, shower, dress, and go pick up the girls for school (I will explain that situation later as I have no kids). We arrive at school, usually late (the girls are never on time) according to my time, I hang out with the coaches until the first bell rings. Then I spend the rest of the day trying to reach the young minds of today's youth by explaining the past. After the last bell rings, I switch to dance coach until 4:30. Then I rush to soccer practice to pick up the girls and drop them off either at home or work. I finally get home to make something for supper around 6. Then I either watch about an hour of tv or I start immediately grading papers, doing lesson plans, or entering grades on the computer. I try to hit the sack by 10:30 everynight
