What I have found the older I get, is that everyone I have ever met (and I mean everyone) comes with a history. All have shortcomings or challenges to overcome. I am no exception, and do not seek another who thinks she is.
Having said that, I suppose the fantasy woman I seek is spiritually-based (though not necessarily religious); others-minded (yet self-loving); independent (but undesireable of a life w/o me); very loyal and eager to watch my back (and desire the same from me); compassionate (and still aware enough to know she can't save everyone); energetic and optimistic w/ a lite attitude (as I tend to lean too far toward the serious at times, despite being told I have a good sense of humor); physically attractive (this is obviously subjective and maybe best left for another time); she will enjoy music and ask me to sing to her frquently; will be affectionate and long to be touched, caressed, and held; Finally, but most importantly, my fantasy woman must like children, and eventually, mine specifically.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

Life is full of opportunities and demands for compromise and I think I am pretty good at bending to another's position and/or wishes provided it is not an ultimatum (I can dig my heels in like anybody). However, I have little tolerance with those who would seek to harm others incapable of defending themselves. In these instances (which are rare), I always allow people to save face, but have no qualms about drawing a line and backing it up.
