I haven't "dated" in I can't remember when! So I can't really speak to that specifically, but changing game plans in mid stream- saying one thing but really meaning another (agenda).

I am looking for:

Low maintenance, not clingy but affectionate, free spirited, creative/artistic, enjoys Jazz, The Blues, enjoys a fine restaurant dining experience - but would just as easily drive down to Boston's North End for great pizza! - likes outdoor kinds of activities as in hiking, kayaking, camping (no a "Pop Up" is NOT camping!), likes animals/pets, loves children, is reasonably educated i.e., can string sentences together into a coherent message, can still do light math in her head, knows when to use to -vs- too and knows that in either case she's pretty sure it can't be two. lol Lastly, I've been involved in the health/wellness industry for a number of years. I work with what is probably the world's leader in nutritional cleansing and weight loss/management, so I'm definitely inclined toward someone who knows McD's and the like is "death on the installment plan". At this stage in life, it ought to be about quality and not "cheap". If I have an urge for a chocolate bar, then it's going to be Green & Black's Organic for $3.00 bucks and not a Hershey Bar for .75 and no, Domino's is not good pizza- unless of course you are drunk at 1 AM in which case you are liable to eat almost- anything. Careful! lol

I have a long list beginning with Hollywood classics from the "Golden Age Of Hollywood" as well as many contemporary flicks as in most of Clint Eastwood's stuff, DiNero, Streep, Bogart, Pacino to name just a few.

Having grown up in an era that really launched some of the greatest Rock n Roll to ever grace vinyl, I have a lot of music from the early 60's into the mid 70's that I love. That era and the music that it produced was truly historic to live through. I guess it was just "The Perfect Storm" of opportunity whereby a post WWII generation coming into its own, civil rights, the War and a host of other influences gave birth to a whole new generation of musicians and music that made history. Given a choice for a night out, a great Blues/Jazz club/show works real well for me. Saw B.B once more about a year ago. Fun but sad- sad because B- is very definitely in his last years and quite obviously from that performance, it was easy to see that he's running out of steam.
And I can do Opera too. :-)

My typical day:

The days are always busy, always filled with demands of one sort or another - work, family, etc. Usually up fairly late - midnight or so and up about 6-6:30 am. Live alone now and kids are out so only me to deal with in the mornings. Some times I'll go out for breakfast -or maybe just a Panera stop. But the job/work is plenty busy for the day and I have a health/nutritional related business as well.

Hang gliding is a real possibility down the road. Probably after I try a few free fall jumps. I have a "dream car" I'm planning on owning and I'd like to run it out to the promised 185 mph. (I normally drive within the speed limit + 5 or 10 mph, even use the cruise control most of the time- so not to worry about me doing the driving on a date! lol)
