Things that have bothered me:

In the case of my most significant relationship, it bothered me that he kind of left all the tough work and compromise of the relationship up to me. He wasn't very good at communicating what was bothering him. I basically just expected honesty from him, and didn't get that when it really counted.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I'm definitly willing to compromise as long as whoever I am dating is willing to compromise as well. In my most significant relationship we hit a bump in our relationship and I was willing to give up my Saturday night with him so he could spend more time with his friends. Most of my friends spent their Saturday nights with their boyfriends/girlfriends so I just kind of spent Saturday night by myself, because I knew that he needed his alone time with his friends.
In the end, the compromise backfired and he would stay out until 7am Sunday morning and I wouldn't get to see him Sunday's. Eventually I only got to see him Friday nights, which I don't think is really enough time together. He ended up breaking up with me, telling me that I was smothering him and all this crap.
How do you smother someone if you only see them once a week? o.O

You could say I'm pretty much ready to begin something special with someone new. I've been single for a year and a half now, so there's really nobody that I need to still put behind me.

My typical day:

I basically spend most of my weekdays in class and doing film projects. I spend a lot of time in the film building editing and making sure my projects come out as good as I can get them. When I'm not in class, I'm usually just hanging out at my apartment. During weekends I like to get out with friends, or just hang out with them. Sometimes I go home back to Woodstock, IL where I am from and visit my friends and family who still live there.
