hm. goofy? I tend to be the one to make jokes that no one will laugh at. I love laughing and having a good time. My best girl friend would describe me as a goody two shoes, but I'm willing to try everything once or twice!
Things that have bothered me:
I guess you could say I've only had one serious relationship in the past, and the thing that bothered me was that he thought he was in love with me, and he wasn't. He's the most honest person I know and he never meant to lie; he truly thought he was in love with me. 6 months later he realizes no, he's not. So, I guess what bothers me is that I have a hard time trusting people, and the only person I could have trusted still let me down unintentionally, making it even harder for me to trust anyone.
I am looking for:
honestly, a guy that is open-minded and well rounded (likes to do a variety of things) is good with me. I don't have a certain "type" though I do like guys who enjoy camping and movies overall lol. I would like someone that is mature and is goal-oriented. I like smartasses, someone that will push my buttons a little bit. Intelligence is a big turn on, but being Mr. Know-it-All is not. uptight is a big no-no. honesty, loyalty, all that stuff that everyone wants. and who doesn't love a funny guy
My funniest life experience:
I'd say that happened when I was in high school. it's not a drunk story either. My best friend and I were house sitting for her grandparents. They're basically loaded. It's a "you had to be there" kind of story though. We first wanted to go into the hot tub, and the two of us had to get this huge heavy cover off and then back on when we got out. Well, I tend to be a klutz and basically I got wacked on the head with the cover and fell into the hottub, cover on top of me. for some reason this was funny. sounds like i could have gotten hurt now that i'm telling it, lol. anyway, so we get ready to go to sleep in her grandparent's huge comfy bed, and we spill red crystal lite on the carpet and the white bed skirt. Resolve is great at getting out stains mind you. so we had to take the mattress apart to get the bedskirt off and put that back on. the mattress was so heavy that we couldn't hold it up and we basically managed to get stuck underneath it. we were laughing so hard we couldnt breathe and as i keep telling this story it sounds less and less funny to the outside party. oh well. it was one of the funniest times in my life, lol.

I am looking for a personality like:
a personality that is simple. i'm a very simple girl. I like being lazy some days and going on a 5 mile hike the next. someone that is spontaneous, laid back, and wants to try new things is definitely a personality I would go for. I have a lot of the world to explore, so they've got to want to tag along for the ride. also, when someone is open with me, it's easier for me to be open with them. I'm a goof ball at heart; some people think it's cute, some think it's annoying. I just try to have fun in everything I do. When someone doesn't judge me from the beginning I can be myself around them.

I am all about compromising. I compromise all the time. I can't give a specific, but if you don't learn to pick your battles, you're never going to win in the end.

right now I'm just on here for fun, but I would consider meeting someone if we hit it off. I don't like people who message me once, then ask me for my phone number, then are like "let's go out for coffee." the purpose of online dating sites is to get to know a person before you hang out with them. now, if instantly we get along great and enjoy each other's conversation, then i might meet someone soon, but other than that, not for a while. I have met a few people off the internet. when I moved to florida for a year, I wanted to make new friends. some people only want new friends so they can get into their "friend's" pants. yeah. thus why I don't like meeting people right away unless I know they really want to hang out and chill, not just wam, bam, thank you ma'am.

The only serious relationship I've had was with a guy who has become my best friend in the entire world. We don't live near each other, so it's not something that would interfere with me dating other guys, but I won't put him in my past because he'll always be important to me, and that's just something anyone who's interested in me will have to deal with. other than that, i'm ready to stt from scratch if thats what works. i take things as they come. what happens happens
My typical day:
well, my day is normally work and nothing else. I live 40 min away from my job so it takes a while to get there, work, and then return home. my life's pretty boring at the moment, and I don't get out much, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to. My perfect date experience would be even flow of intelligence and laughter in the conversation where we learn more about each other.
My Wish List Includes:
my wish list goes on for miles. I've never surfed, went white water rafting, bungee jumped, rode in a hot air balloon. I would love to do all those things. I would NEVER go skydiving though. too scary. I want to travel the world. I've never been out of the U.S. not even to Canada or Mexico. I want to go everywhere. I want to visit the museums in Paris, especially the Louvre. I want to visit Spain, just because I used to be able to speak it very well and would like to learn it fluently. Basically, ALL over Europe, plus Australia, Africa, even South America and all the tropical islands. there's so much I want to do that I haven't done. but I'm young, so I'm not worried.
