They will get a raise at work, lose weight, write the great American novel, cure some health problem all by the second date. If one one of those things don't happen they seem to think you are a loser and move on. To really get to know people it takes TIME.

I just got back from Iraq about six months ago. I spent about 15 months in uniform. Events like that gets a person thinking. I have lots of ideas still brewing in my head. In some ways things are radically different now. I do know that whatever I do it will be better with a pretty significant one at my side.
