Those who don't show interest by initiating questions or who change the subject so soon, it feels as if they are not really in tune or listening. Also, I have no tolerance for liars and cheats. People who act like your friend, then disappear on you, just when you're going through an interesting, exciting time in your life, that under normal circumstances, you'd want to share with that person.

Classic rock, indie, alternative, singer-songwriter, folk, some pop, classical, some country-rock, instrumental/new age, acoustic - open to most genres except for rap, opera and old-fashioned country! Old groups: Beatles, ELO, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Kayak, Caravan, Rolling Stones, Neil Diamond, Carly Simon, James Taylor, the Kinks, The Doors, Mott the Hoople and others. I'll have to return to this to list the newer musicians/groups I like. One of those I can name now is the Decemberists.

I am mainly on here to chat online with interesting others as described above. An exception to that, would be possibly meeting for friends only, if we have enough things in common and if you live within an hour or so of Wilmington, Delaware. I enjoy bicycling, so would love to find local folks who can go for a ride with me in the warmer weather from time to time, exploring different Rails-To-Trails, or Greenways. Any canoers out there? I enjoy that as well. And, am always open to meeting new people for a coffee, drink, or lunch for an interesting conversation. Or, a walk & talk in a park is good for me, too. Not looking for a relationship at this time. Just friendships with anyone, of any age, if we have enough in common to forge one.
