While on a patrol in Fallujah, my leuitenant ordered a buddy of mine whose a saw gunner to lay in the prone out in the middle of the street. He was facing a claymore mine no more than 30 meters away and 3 LAR humvees mounted with machine guns and tow missles along with 6 other Marines on line with various weapons. Reguardless, he would have been caught in cross fire and the Leuitenant told my buddy never to question his orders.

My typical day:

I'm a Marine which means I work ungodly hours for ridiculous pay. I could make more in the civilian world working at MCD's at minimum wage for the amount of hours I spend working. I basically work 1214 hours a day depending on the day and where I am. Everyday is different though.
