My funniest life experience:

Picture this: Moving into a new 2 bdroom apartment after working a 11-7 shift in a busy communications center. wonderful siamese cats and a waterbed that needs to be filled. I started filling the bed but was so beat that I layed down on the bed in the second BR. I woke up to a large cracking noise and my cats yowling and running away from the water that was covering every inch of the carpet. I heard what sounded like a brook running in the MB opened the door to find a the mattress expanded feet over the top of the frame and rolling toward the window. In my state of waking/panic I tried to stop the rolling yeah right.LOL not happening. I started laughing my butt off because the damage was done. Know the next step was to see the reaction of my then wife. LOL

A person that is not afraid to be honest and tell the truth of the matter. A person that knows when to be tactful. A person that is not afraid to be themselves and is comfortable with the person they are. A real person that does not put on a show, natural and down to earth a person that knows how to read anothers feelings and emotions. These are but a few of the traits that I look for in another person and do my best to have personally.

Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?

I think compromise is very important depending on the situation there are time that for reasons of moral or priciples that one can not and must not compromise. I thnk one of the most difficult times I had to compromise was dealing with a friend and her abusive relationship. I thought it was very important that she leave the abuser, but know that it is important for and abused person to make their own decisions due to the fact that most abusers are need to have power and control and take it totally away from the person they are abusing. I just talked to her and suggested that she talk to a hotline against domestic abuse of which I belonged and for her to just listen to the information so that she could make her own informed decision. The compromise in this case was not to totally try to convince her to leave the bastard!!!

I have been single for over years now so I have no strings or ties to anyone. I just want to meet a loving person that with whom I am compatible.

My typical day:
|
|
Well lets see I wake up at 5am do my fifteen minute morning workout, put tea water on, get cleaned up, either put on NPR or the "blues" music channel, sit down and study, enjoy a bagle with my tea. Get ready for clinical or class. Listen to lecture tapes from class in my care during hour commute, to keep material fresh in my mind. Attend clinical for hours taking as many radiographs as possible to gain experience and see how many people I can get to glow. LOL only kidding. Eat lunch, talk politics or current events with people at lunch, more radiographs, leave listen to more lecture tapes, come home put the local news on to keep up with NH events, put on "The News Hour" on PBS, fix dinner, get on the nordic track during winter months for an hour or go for a hike for an hour, come back and study til 9pm and go to bed. When the cycle starts over again. Of course the is the standard stuff on days off I play in the woods, listen to lots of music or watch a good film. Visit friends and try to laugh as much as possible. Laughter is important throughout the day and I try to find humor in as much as possible.

I want to see more of this great country and the world I want to work in Alaska for at least a year, see Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. Go back to Europe and experience more of the wonderful culture that I experienced in 80-83. The list is much larger but this is a start.
