My funniest life experience:

Many years ago, while in the Army, I was with a girlfriend & I had borrowed a friends 1965 VW bug. We were young & broke so we moved to the back seat to have more room. As the rain came, we felt a bit more romantic & expessed a mutual desire for less clothing. My friend had recently had a battery problem and left the battery cover off. This would not have been a problem except the battery was under the back seat bottom!! As the romantic contact got hot, so did the bottom metal frame of the seat (as it contacted/shorted out on the battery). Even though the seat's contact with the battery was intermittently in sync with the motion of the car, it was enough to start a fire. The romantic moment turned to some strange smells, the strange smells turned into smoke and in a few minutes, we were standing in the rain, a glowing red seat in our hands and then we realized that all our clothes were in the car. After the rain water put the fire out, our romantice evening was also wet & ruined. Of course, I had to explain to my friend how his back set caught on fire & deal with many months of jokes about my having hot sex that caught his back seat on fire!

It is never of question of if I will n d to compromise, it is a matter of how much is needed. There was a gathering at my home where a friend of my guest came along & needed to both smoke & drink a few beers (he brought his own) while in my home. The smoking was a possibility, but he did go into the garage to enjoy his suds.

My typical day:

Handling both estate matters & letting my creativity flow to work on additional design activities. Kids to school, many email/phone calls, more design activities & a light lunch. Afternoon drive to ocean for a brief recharge and to enjoy the outdoors/ocean sounds & views. After some study & research, get dinner, start the evening with an additional 3-5 hours of research & homework, remind the kids of bed-time & finish the days scheduled tasks, if possible. Think about the next days events & slow my mind down for some good sleep.

I would like to learn to fly a plane, have another 2-3 hours of un-policed drives on the autobahn at 200+ mph in a Z06 Corvette, design & build a house that included a gym & auto garage for race car nuts. Visit remote countries where the people have not been very modernized yet.
