Most important, honesty. I'm looking for someone who trusts me and sees me as not only their boyfriend but also considered their best friend. I'm also looking for someone who's got a great sense of humor, a caring heart, can hold their own in a conversation, can help me break out of my shell when I get shy around new people, compassionate, loving and isn't afraid to have a little public display of affection. Not get a room stuff but gimme a smooch for crying out loud! I love college football and watching movies so I'm looking for someone who likes to snuggle on the couch.

My funniest life experience:

It wasn't funny at the time but now when I think of it, it's pretty funny. I went bowling and the shoes I got were unlike any bowling shoe I've ever worn. These had a rubber stopper on the back. It worked too well because when I went to throw my ball, the stopper caught the floor and I went flying. I spent the rest of the game bowling on my tippy toes.

I am willing to compromise in a difficult time. I do think that far too often for me personally, I sometimes compromise too much in the name of ending an arguement. Sometimes it's those discussions that help you grow together. I'm learning to be more assertive and speak my mind without leading things to an arguement.

At first, I'd like to exchange some emails to get to know you. Then move on to talking on the phone. If that goes well, let's meet up for lunch, dinner, drinks.etc. I am looking to meet someone special and build a friendship, then a relationship. I have met people off the internet before. Some I didn't like, some I did. I was married for 7 years to someone I met off the internet but that relationship has dissolved.

Are you ready to start from scratch?

Right now, my life is really starting over. I was laid off from a job I worked at for 6 years. I just found a new position at a much more stable company. I've also had to deal with the fallout of the divorce with my wife. I won't lie and say it's been easy because it hasn't but I take each day as an opportunity to move forward. I'd like to be with someone who understands that there may be days where I'm a bit down and it's not due to anything they've done, it's just one of those days in life that we all have to get through at some point.
