Outgoing at times, but still not willing to stick my neck out for someone that hasn't earned or who I don't suspect will return the favor, although I do have a charitable side, as well, that doesn't expect anything in return. My funniest life experience was when I was looking for work. I hit the bricks every day, sometimes returning home and heading right back out again on a new hunch, trying to find a job. I applied everywhere, including where I work now, and I wanted that job the most. Days came and went, I worked for a month at the one factory no one around here wants to work, and was down to my last dollar and about to run out of unemployment benefits and patience alike. I had just finished telling a friend that I may as well face the music and start mowing grass for a living when I saw the message light on the answering machine. Ruckers (the company I work for) wanted an interview. I got the job the same day.

I always tended to be most comfortable around a person that didn't raise their brow at me or something I say, and doesn't alienate me if for some reason I make a complete doofus of myself, but instead laughs and tells me things will get better. I like to make people more comfortabe around me by avoiding the awkward silences, where you hear the wind in the trees and the crickets chirping while waiting for a response. I'm always compromising on something or other. I need money for more important things than a new truck, and my little beat-up Chevy still runs good, so I compromise by spending the money saved from a car payment on more important things. This is not the only situation promise is second nature in the life I lead.
