If a friend described me (& I've asked my bestest friend of 20+ yrs) it would be that I'm VERY outgoing, sometimes too talkative, am fiercely loyal to my friends, can get along with almost anyone, literally. I'm totally non-judgemental, however, if you ASK my opinion I will be absolutely honest with you. My friends say sometimes I'm brutally honest - hey, don't ask the ?? if you can't handle the answer - I won't lie, I won't play 'games' and I have no time, patience, or tolerence for anyone who does. I love life and am about as optimistic as a person can be. Life Motto: I see the glass as half fulleven if it's being poured on my head. Ya just gotta laugh at life sometimes to keep from crying your ass off!

Most bothersome thing lately is how many men only want a NSA type of deal. Been there, done that, tired of it, NOT fulfilling in the least anymore.

I want someone who is looking for love, and who knows what real love is. That means NO ONE is perfect. True love means accepting that person, the good, the bad, all of them imperfections and all. I tend to be somewhat 'extreme'by that I mean that when I do something, I do it all the way, full force, total attention. When I fall in love, I fall passionately, deeply, totally, head over heels in love. And want the same in return.

I like lots of movies. Just finally saw Jodie Foster's 'THE BRAVE ONE". And can't wait to see 'WANTED' with Angelina Jolie in June (I'll go by myself to the movie if I have too!)

I really LOVE music - and have it on all the time. I was in band in school growing up for 7 yrs (played clarinet). But you get to hang around REALLY talented people & be exposed to lots of kinds of music. I have an eclectic aray of CD's. There is NO way someone could pin me down if you looked at what I have. However, with that said, I'm a child of the '80's and that is my MOST favorite genre. My all time fav band is still JOURNEY. With that said, my cd's include: AC/DC, Foreigner, Ozzy, Bon Jovi, Loverboy (basically all the classic 80's groups), Shania Twain, Winona, Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Pink, Seether, Hinder, Nine Inch Nails, Limpbizkit, Yanni, Andre Bocelli, Chant (St. Benedictine Monks), soundtrack from CATS, and whatever floats my boat at the moment. I love all music basically, just depends on what mood I'm in at the moment.

I have no problem compromising. In my family I'm more of the 'peacemaker' than the instigator of problems. I really do NOT like arguing. I'm pretty much a laid back, go with the flow kinda person. I don't like to make waves. But if I DO insist on something, then there must be a really important reason for it.

I've been on a few dates from the internet. But I have to warn men, that if you want me to meet you for a first date at YOUR home, keep looking. Several that have wanted to 'meet', only wanted me to meet at their home. Not happening in a million years! Pls be respectful & understand that in this day & age women aren't overly paranoid they just have to be sensible and use their brain & common sense.

I'm ready to meet someone who is at the same point in their life that I am in mine.tired of coming home to just 2 Chihuahua's. I love them to death, but their communication skills are a tad lacking shall we say. You ever have one of those rare, really GREAT days? You come home, just bursting, wanting to tell someone, only to realize that the dog(s) are the only ones listening. Isn't that a bummer? Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not "needy" or "clingy". I think in a healthy relationship both parties need to have guys/girls nights out w/friends. I don't feel 'incomplete' w/out a man in my life. I have a very positive self image. I just think it's somewhat of a waste to not have someone to share & enjoy things with.

I've actually just started something new.going to the gun range. I somehow managed to be the ONLY Texan who had never fired a gun in my life! Now I own my very first one. Would like to get good enough by the end of this year to apply for my Conc. Handgun Lic. Still have a LOT of practicing to do! LOL!
