I am usually the strong silent type, but if I'm around people I feel I can be myself around I tend to be the clown of the group. I hate when my friends are upset and will try to make them laugh when I can, but at the same time I know when it's time to buckle down and get serious. Something that you need to understand about me before you decide if you would like to get to know me, I am a bouncer and as such there are times when I have to jump into fights and risk getting hurt. My last relationship ended badly because she didn't want to risk me getting hurt and didn't like me jumping into fights, even outside the club there are times when I will get into a fight. I believe that when something you care about is in harms way one must stand and fight to protect it, if you hate fighting so much that you do not like people who fight for any reason at all then you should look elsewhere, I don't want to sound mean but it is not my job in life to please everyone and I'm not going to change who I am for anyone. It's taken me almost twenty years to become who I am so my persoality is not going anywhere anytime soon.

People being fake and those who aren't trusting (there's a differance between being careful about who you open up to and not being trusting), also people who feel like they have to EVERYTHING on their own. I'm a big fan of taking care of my own problems, but you have to know when to ask for help. I don't like people who are vain or people who think they know best and feel the need to try and change who I am.

I tend to view the world a little differently than most people so I'm looking for someone who is open minded and will listen to my views instead of dismissing them right off the bat. Someone who is loyal to their friends and their views is also a big plus, if you're the type to flip back and forth than you won't be able to stand me. There are many parts of my personality that contradict each other so someone would have to be flexible in order to be around me. Someone who is strong willed but at the same time knows when they've hit their limits and need help. Must be compassionate and caring, and must be comfortable with random moments of silence as well as moments when I never shut up. Couldn't tell you as far as favorite groups, as far as music I will listen to almost anything. I don't really like rap, but I can listen to it for long periods of time, bluegrass is strictly off limits though

Being myself is difficult for me because I'm usually very quite, I'm much better at listening than I am at talking. If someone is comfortable with companionable silence then that usually helps me loosen up since I don't feel like I have to try and fill the gap with idle chatter.
