I can tell you one thing that really gets on my nerves and that is someone who can't put a sentense together that makes sense. I'm not saying you have to necessarily spell perfectly, but at least makes sense!
Things that have bothered me:
Trying to be something they're not. Lying on their profile. when I see you in person I will know you are not 5 foot 9 if I have a short heal on and I am taller than you. Being surperficial. You have to be yourself, otherwise you will never know if the person likes you or the person you're trying to be. While being yourself, you still need to have manners.
I am looking for:
First off I want to make it clear I will consider most any age, but I feel I most likely will have nothing in common with someone that is a lot older than me. My age range is 30 to 43 and will change as I get older. Again, everyone that shows an interest wil be considered. I will tell you if I think we have anything in common.
Also I will most likely not be interested in someone who smokes.

I am really looking to meet someone. I don't really go places to meet people because most of my friends are married or have boyfriends. I have gone on dates with 3 guys from online dating. To me this is the best way to screen people before you decide to even talk to them over the phone. My Mom met her husband online.
Are you ready to start from scratch?
I am currently single and have been for too long. Aside from a little dating in the last 5 years, I have been single since November . Before that I was with someone for 4 1/2 years. I know who I am, been single long enough to not be on the rebound and not looking while I'm with someone else.
My typical day:
My ideal date, depends on the person and how long we've been talking/dating. A good date can be anything from meeting for coffee or drinks, to going to the movies, sometimes dinner and a movie. Going mini golfing, a walk in the park, checking out the local flea market (if he's into that), a concert, a play Lots of things to do in the warm months. Once you get comfortable with someone and want to spend more time with them and date them long term you can still have great dates. Some times those are just sitting at home, my place or his, and making dinner (he or I) and maybe playing a card or board game or watching a good movie or something on tv we both enjoy.

I think what I'm looking for is someone who gets me. Understands me, sees the important things basically the same way I do. Someone who is an open minded person. In the future I want to go to school and get at least an associates degree in something that is creative that I can make good money at and love doing. One day I would love to own my own business, frozen custard shop, 50's diner or who knows maybe something else I love. I'd liked to try rock climbing one day even if it's just the fake rock wall! LOL!
