A friendly, funny but weird guy. Weird in the sense that not every one gets to relate to a country boy, who grew up on an island, served a long time in the Marines, and actually wants to experience life as a city dweller. A FLIRT and a half. A human resources manager's nig are. Critical on the side of humor. HONEST sometimes too honest whereas I will not yeild to lying, even it it would cause me much pain.
Things that have bothered me:
Although I still respect, trust, and even love all my past lovers, the things that bothered me most that affect a lot of people, and that is the transition from being together to being eternally apart everybody handles it differently. The thing that bothers me is the perceived hate, mistrust and dishonesty that evolves from mis-interpretation, mis-communication, and innuendo of the transition.
I am looking for:
I am looking for that person that enjoys dialog wants to know what is going on my head and is willing to share their thoughts to get to that information. A person willing to face the terrifying fear of possibly being betrayed, by fully opening up their heart and soul to me where I can prove my mettle as a true partner by not letting them down. I wish this person to be attractive showing proof that they take care of how they are presented, healthy, clean, well groomed, etc. I'm looking for that person to know what they like with regards to taste good attire, that for which they not only like, but are proud to wear. I am seeking out that person who is confident in who she is, and what she has done, and where she is going.
My funniest life experience:
I have millions of them most from my duty to country but not necessarily related I'm not the tallest kid on the team (and, at times was the shortest), but had the determination to keep up with the big dogs like on the first time EVER snow skiing- after a quick 20-minute course, and two runs down the bunny slopes, me an another Marine tempted fate by decising to take on one of the professional routes a course that would take a very experienced skier about a half hour to descend took us close to four hours. Ask me about my first and only parachute jump!
Cool Movies:
I love movies of all genres. I like anything with Joe Pesci, Robert Dinero, Al Pacino. I'm a big fan of the Silence of the Lambs trilogy. Any movie with a horse is a great flick to settle in to.
My Favorite Groups are:
I'll go to any live venue regardless of genres. My favorite genres include various type of punk and metal. With company, I will yeild to their tastes as to not upset there need of the auditory senses when they get older. Anything with a screaming guitar riff. I can tolerate Country music I just have issues with one instrument, the steel guitar. I will jump at any opportunity to sit in on a real Appalachin bluegrass group.
I am looking for a personality like:
In the Marines, they cherish their paradym of leadership by example. So certainly a lot of my qualities were honed by the Few and the Proud. Before then, particular teachers were instrumental mentors. Post Marines the ladies in my life, my mother, a cousin who is also displaced away from the family core, the wife (turned-ex-wife), girlfriends all are person who I to this day can still turn to for that special kick in the pants advice I may need.
Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?
During one life defining moves, I had to choose between faith, and an alternative. This is a story that will only be told in a controlled, intimate setting because it can be very disturbing. I have compromised on of my own personal morals passed to me from generations of family in the need to prove my love to another although it was not a sin, nor was illegal in any way shape or form, nor could be construed as such, it was an expensive compromise mentally to me. I felt I had betrayed my family.

I am very willing to meet people from this service, having fun looking for that special person. I have met people on the internet before, to include my last LTGF, however, we had affiliations before we contacted eachother.

I have put all that I have to put behind me to start anew - there are still residual emotions, and relations that I will seek guidance from to steer me in the direction to make a better partner for that next significant other.

A veteran of the Marines, have traveled the world and been to some really neat places, and som not-so-neat places. Currenty working in sales, living just south of Plano. Used to a much lesser life-, leaning on the ag-side of the social spectrum. Not a cowboy, but, as of recently, no longer have a horse, have been a dairyman, herdsman, and a farm-hand. I still wear my hat every now and then when the mood strikes me. I drive a jeep a real jeep (wrangler), and I hate having the top on. I'm a geek but not a nerd. Love most genres of music but country is not my fave (learning to tolerate it). I will go ANYWHERE where there's live music including the sh*t-kickers, and have been known to cut-a-rug in tempo.
My Wish List Includes:
The Marines assiste me knocking down my "list" of things to do in my life rather quickly I might add. It made it so I had to work even tougher to knock out the easy stuff on the "list." I've jumped from a perfectly good airplane, hung off a cliff be a single line, flew over the north pole, looked across at Russia from a Norweigan fjord, played in triple canopy jungles on tropical islands, lived in a hole in the sand in the Saudi Arabian desert, got a nose bleed from both the lack of humidity and elevation of the high desert, basked in the heat of a phoenix summer in the low desert, sailed several of the seven seas, and grew up in the Carribean. So my goal for my future would be to reach serendipity via doing what the average joe calls normal because I've never lived normal.
