My requests are simple. I don't want the fancy houses, new cars or expensive jewelry, I want you to give yourself to me. But sometimes that is the hardest thing to give, isn't it?
Yes, my heart has been broken and I have learned alot - about myself and about people in general. I have also learned that no one should have to pay for the sins of their predecessors.
I ask that you be honest, genuine, straightforward, loyal, faithful and kind. These are the qualities that in all or in part have been lacking from my relationships in the past. The qualities that were lacking caused a great deal of pain and could not be repaired or overcome. To be honest, sometimes I ask myself why I am putting myself back out there, vulnerable, to possibly be hurt again.
The answer, however, is easy. I am always hopeful.
I am strong, smart and fiesty, high energy, vibrant and pretty gosh darn funny (I crack myself up sometimes!). I know when to be a lady, but I like to have fun, be silly and let my hair down. I am rather shy, can be intense and passionate, have an abundance of energy and love to laugh.
I tend to tell it like it is and if something isn't working I will acknowledge it, say "can we fix this?" and am willing to compromise, but I will never settle again.
I am a giver and this has gotten me into trouble in the past. I believe in mutual giving. I want no more emotional vampires in my life.
I am also very sensual. I experience the world through my senses. I thrive on things that arouse my senses and my intellect. This is the best way to get to my heart. I love physical contact, be it touching, hugging, kissing, etc. I also am very visual, love scents that take me back to special times and sounds that I can connect to love, happiness, positivity and peace. I love good food, wine and fresh foods.
